Back to School Lunchboxes Giveaway!
I’ve always preferred to send my older children to school with a home-packed lunch. It is so much more economical and healthy to do so. Of course, when Emily needs a lunch for a homeschool activity day or park day, there’s not another option—we have to pack a lunch!
But in doing so, we go through a lot of sandwich bags. I don’t buy a lot of pre-packaged items, so we have cut-up fruit in a bag, homemade cookies in a bag, sandwich in a bag, and so on. The costs add up, and of course, that’s not good for the environment, either.
I was excited to have the chance to review Easy Lunchboxes. There are a lot of options for kids lunchboxes, but I love that this combines 3 compartment containers with coolers. The containers are stackable and nestable and eliminate the need for bags or several smaller containers. Emily has an adorable lunchbox with little plastic containers that her dad brought her from Korea last year. She loves it, but the containers are too small to be practical. They might be perfect for rice and kimchi, but aren’t designed for sandwiches!
The Easy Lunchbox containers are sold in sets of 4 and the coolers come in 5 colors. The cooler is easily big enough to hold 3 lunch containers or one container with thermos, chips, and/or drink bottle.
Do you run out of ideas of what to put in your kids’ lunchboxes? I know I do. I love the gallery of ideas that Easy Lunchboxes provides on their website. Here are just a few of them…
